Technically, two things. But..
My car.
It was bought when I was 15. For me. I didn’t get my license till I was 22, so it kinda sat there.
Got my license with it hitting exactly 6,666 miles on the odometer.
So technically, it had a new engine.
Then my granddad put my name on it officially.
I still have it.
Even if I don’t have him anymore…
The biggest? My home.
People of my grandparents generation tried to leave things behind for their children or grandchildren.
A lot of people don’t understand that, or have made harsh comments. So I don’t mention that I own a house.
A good number of people I encounter assume I live in an apartment. Several friends assume I was struggling with my rent back in 2021-2023.
It’s a small house and has its quirks, but it’s mine.

So… that is how I came to own a house, free and clear, as a 23 year old working part-time.
