The hiatus schedule is an interesting one. It includes 3 cycles, where I run through all of the stories, by penning out chapters, then using time to go through and edit.

Firstly… I’m cutting out “A Good Day” entirely. As per what I posted on the third chapter at the bottom, that story is now indefinitely discontinued.

Wanna know how to tick me off? Ask me to write you something, and then you avoid any conversation at all with me.

Did I put in over 14 hours’ worth of editing into Chapter 3 of “A Good Day?” I did. And I’m regretting each and every second.

Now then, for the cycles, I have this:

Cycle 1:

• Drafting: Before the Bend (2 Chapters), Catch & Release III (2 Chapters), Emerald & Crimson (2 Chapters), Navigating the Curve (1 Chapter), Not For Us (3 Chapters), Open Arms (2 Chapters)
  • Duration: 7 weeks with low averages of 1 ½ (or 2hrs) per day. 7 days a week.
• Editing: All 12 Chapters.
  • Duration: 10 weeks with low averages of 1 ½ (or 2 hrs) per day. 7 days a week.

Cycle 2:

• Drafting & Editing: All the same.
• As C&R III is only slated for 4 chapters, that means that this story will be completed. The extra spaces will be handed to BtB.

Cycle 3:

• Drafting: Before the Bend (4 Chapters), Emerald & Crimson (2 Chapters), Navigating the Curve (1 Chapter), Not For Us (3 Chapters), Open Arms (2 Chapters)
• Editing: The same.

So, I should hopefully have a good 36 chapters ready to go at the end of this. And with the time slated at 51 weeks, I should have a week where I can easily get some rest before the chaos resumes.

I might use 1 day that week to set up my uploads in advance.

Then immediately begin working on fresh cycles again, with the plan to take another hiatus right after the last “pre-done” chapter is uploaded.

I’m prioritizing my health over getting out “the newest update,” because my current pace is unsustainable.

My Plans: Get the drafts done quicker (in 7 weeks). Not to give myself more space for additional chapters. Instead, the goal is to widen the gap between my rest break and resuming the writing cycles for the stories.

Now, what that also means for my planning starting in September next year?

That means that BtB will be done by the end of the second cycle. That then leaves more space for the other stories.

I have a life… and it is past time that I start actually living it.
