The Sims 4. I hadn’t played it since it was Sims 2, but after surgery in 2019, I started to play to get my mind off things.
When you’ve had a hysterectomy at a young age, you sometimes can have some psychiatric trauma from it. Especially if you wanted a family.
Other people, who either have or hate children will tell you that it’s not a big deal and to not worry about it.
I wonder if those people know that others aren’t extensions of themselves.
So I play the Sims to have happy families… and also because I like the idea of building tiny homes.

I swing from being happy over not having a period to being sad when I see people with their kids.
No one should tell you how you should or shouldn’t feel when something is upsetting to you.
