This is a public service announcement. Energy is often collected, stored… and then wasted. Can you imagine what it’s like to see it in action? It’s terrible! I kind of imagine little wings on bolts of electricity that are flying off into the distance. And they have dollar signs dangling off their little lightning feet.
Now… That said, imagine that same thing happening in your body. Except the energy isn’t wasted. It runs out too fast.
Energy Conservation is something I’ve been discussing with my occupational therapist. That’s using the energy you have early in the day for what’s most important.
She suggested I make a little chart, writing down things I have to/want to do now, things I need to/want to do in the future… first. The next row down is labeled as “others,” as in what is it that I need to do that I can have someone else do for me. She did suggest UberEats or GrubHub if I don’t feel up to cooking.
I’ve done that.
Both of those delivery services are expensive. The price included is the food, the convenience fee, the taxes and tip for the driver. It can make what would be a $15 order cost closer to $40.
Let alone the fact that I can make the bulk of what I order.
The problem I run into is having the energy to do it.
So I have to pick, choose and pull from different areas.
At some point, I’ll figure out a list.

I should probably start by rewriting my daily schedule. That would likely help me loads.
