Can You Pay My Bills

So… my day was sorta off to a sucky start. Someone was allowed ahead of me for my psychiatry appointment.

She put in my prescription, but the pharmacy sent me a text telling me the meds wouldn’t be available until January 2024.

I headed home, decided to play with my kitten to wear her out a bit so she wouldn’t be running around like she had no sense.

… Then, she had a massive seizure. I was so shaken up that I couldn’t drive to the emergency vet’s office. I had to put her in a cage and get on the bus.

Then, I had the bill… which is twice my monthly budget. Same day would have been a bit over my budget. Overnight cost me nearly twice that.

So… of course, I decided to go with the overnight. And sobbed… as my credit card got charged yet again.

And now, I’m waiting to do a balance transfer. Which I’ll need to pay off before December next year.

Could have been a worse day. Got my meds, now need to go eat.

  1. Look, not that I can provide much, but if you have a PayPal I can send you a little money? I want to, please. I’m really sorry to hear about what happened to your cat.

    1. While I appreciate your offer, and I really do… I don’t want to deprive someone of what they might need. You might need that money for an emergency yourself. I’m fortunately enough to have the option to do balance transfers. I’ll just need to adjust a few things in my day to day life to cope. And… if I can’t afford it ultimately, I’ll have to hand her over to the HRA. They can place her in a home where she can get the medical care she needs.

But… I’m gonna do my best to keep her. She’s such a sweetheart!

What you can do to help though, is give me a good suggestion for pet insurance maybe? I’m starting to suspect I might need it.
