Hey, Miss J!

So… today, I’ve penned out 4,077 words for NtC and C&RII. I’m both surprised and happy at the same time. I’m of course still far behind, but I’m making some headway.

So there’s that. I also have some ideas for additional add-ons for NtC. I had a few requests that came in. I also realized… much to my chagrin—that I would need to have five entire chapters to make that 50K limit.

So… I suppose I’ll be plotting out five chapters now, instead of just three. Which already sounds like a nightmare in the making.

Today, for NtC, I wrote a bit of dialogue. It was a bit cheesy.

Okay, that’s a lie. It’s a lotta cheesy. So much that you could scrape some off and turn it into dinner.

That request I got? Trying to squeeze that into the story. I have next to no plans in stone for the other two chapters though… which makes me very worried. So now, I’ll have two new that are squeezed in between and sort of backdated and three brand new chapters that will have to have—of course—brand new content.

Working on C&RII is proving to be a lot less stressful. I think I’m only supposed to pen out about 800 words per day? But I like the story so much that I’m plowing ahead a bit at a time. I’ll likely punch out a bit more tonight based on what the chapter is supposed to have.

… Don’t know if I have much penned for that either though. I’m working on Chapter 4 of C&RII. Meanwhile, only chapter 1 of that is up.

A friend of mine today asked me what I thought about making an idea I had for a play come to life. I sent him the audio file, so I’ll see what he thinks about it.

To be fair, he might forget until next week though.

I do like the idea of having a live performance, but I’m a bit nervous at the idea of writing a script. I tried it out years ago and it was nerve-wracking. And also very annoying. I had to write actions in between—you see where I’m going, right?

The difference between then and now is that I’ve gotten into the habit of writing extensively… And just today learned the trick to write a lot without hurting myself.

So…
