Topic: Identity, consent, privacy.
Okay, so most of you know that I am a content creator. (Hello YouTube!) But what you don’t know is how far that extends.
Some of you remember how I mentioned using AI as well.
So… I wanted to play a game that was good and didn’t have the gross extras… or the excessive ads. And, with the help of AI (it handled the coding that I nearly broke the program with), I was able to produce such a game.
In fact, I have FIVE games I’m working to develop. These are not standard games. I didn’t just say, “I need you to make me a game that does X, Y, Z…”
Instead, I have been the lone game tester for well over three hundred iterations of these games.
My heaviest one is a life simulator. I wanted to make it free for my friends (and others) to play—but I’m worried about the code being stolen because thieves gonna thieve. I have a lone thief in my family who justifies every dollar she’s stolen from all of us over the years…
Let’s hear it from the back. I DO NOT LIKE THIEVES!!!
Unfortunately, I’ve learned that Google will want to take my legal name and PUBLISH it online if I try to put the game in the Android store.
… So NOW, I have the whole issue of my actual name, which, thanks to BLOCKSHOPPER… reveals my home address.
BLOCKSHOPPER also has a link to do a deep background search on me that could reveal my personal accounts, email, social media, and who knows what else. The company is utterly rotten and has an F from the BBB.
My legal name is also tied to the unfortunately 18+ book that I stupidly published in my own name.
So then there’s itch.io, which I could also use.
But…
I have to do research into what kinda files they accept, and it’s put a damper on my mood…
