Here’s the long-link, because I’m uncertain how well the links on my page work.

I finally broke down and gave the stories chapter limits.

It’s not because I don’t want to write anymore.

It’s not because I’ve lost interest in the stories.

It’s not because I want to make a statement.

In fact, it’s because I want to place a limit on myself. NtC is a beast. 30 Chapters, but boasting 328,818 words. If I didn’t limit it, the story could turn into a never-ending monster. However, a limit of 60 gives me enough room to close all of the loose threads, save the heroes, have someone eat chocolate and bring the story to a tidy conclusion.

I realized that since I am the writer, I have to place limits myself on these stories.

Now then… current statistics:

• A Good Day. Chapter: (3/20) Wordcount: 10,719.
• Before the Bend. Chapter: (1/15) Wordcount: 5,179.
• Between the Earth & Sky (Planning Stage) Chapter: Undetermined. Wordcount: Undetermined. Status: Still undecided.
• Catch & Release I. Chapter: (1/1) Wordcount: 6,077.
• Catch & Release II. Chapter: (5/5) Wordcount: 27,895.
• Catch & Release III (Planning Stage) Chapter: Undetermined. Wordcount: Undetermined. Status: Decided on, just need planning.
• Emerald & Crimson. Chapter: (1/30) Wordcount: 5,056.
• Navigating the Curve. Chapter: (30/60) Wordcount: 328,818.
• Not For Us. Chapter: (1/30) Wordcount: 2,717.
• Open Arms. Chapter: (2/40) Wordcount: 9,232.

If I actually average 1 chapter a week while rotating these stories… (I might not, but I want to.) That means I have a bit over 3 years of writing on them to go.

So now, I get to work on BtB tonight, then resume my correct schedule. Chaos, exercise and all.
