It’s All ‘Bout Them Benjamins

Daily writing prompt
What’s a common misconception people have about happiness?

People always assume that a better job, more money and better things will make them happy.

The wealthy aren’t truly happy. There may be some enjoyment from having so much, but the “fun” is fleeting.

And empty, especially if they shoved family and friends to the wayside in the pursuit of “success.”

And people worth literal billions continue to keep working–like hamsters on a wheel.
