It’s up in the air really. I used to be active on myspace years ago. And I also had a longstanding Facebook.
I’ve no clue how to access the Myspace anymore… and a devious family member made a profile with someone else’s information to spy on what I was posting on Facebook. As a result, my personal FB is gone, but I have one under “Juliette Lyst.”
I guess… since I’m trying to fling myself fully back into writing—that I’m trying to at least get my X working correctly again.
I also have a TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr… along with a Podcast that I can no longer access.
And, I’m on Discord, but that’s primarily for a fishing game. I’m a Free2Play member, because ain’t nobody got money like that… To spend over $200 a day on a videogame for fake currency, fake lures for fake fish? No.
I wish I was exaggerating, but no, there are people that spend over $60,000 a year on that game.
It makes me sad too, because what people want is to win. But that desire is so strong that they’ll hurl money at this game. And the designers know this. So they keep putting more and more and more up.
They even have a generous “deal” where for only $499.99, you get… You get the point.
Still, it is fun to be F2P… sometimes. Other times, I wish I could buy the fish, but as soon as I do, it’s a slippery slope.
I fell into a pattern of paying for boosts in a video game before. It’s…
I ended up in debt because of wanting to advance in the game faster. And for “easy” outs if it was a difficult puzzle.
Money goes fast if you’re not paying close enough attention, especially if you’re using a card.
