I’ve spent hours going in circles over what I have in terms of budgeting.
75% of my income goes to bills so…

Even though a $80+ water bill is painful… the $200+ gas bill is more painful. And it feels like I’m being spited, because we had weather with temperatures that felt like they were below 0.
My pipes froze at one point as well. I just had a massive plumbing bill.
Now, I’m reading my power bill might be $70+.
So let’s add up those numbers.
$350 for just three utility bills.
Then my house insurance payment went up. All of a sudden. Because the company requested more money to make up losses. But I’ve never had to make a claim with them.
So it’s $80+ for that and $160+ for my car insurance.
Then there are the payments for pest services and the pre-payments for my final arrangements. And for my security system.
I could save money if I didn’t pay for pest control.
I could save moveney if I didn’t pay for cremation and niche arrangements.
I could save money if I didn’t pay for a security system.
I could also save money if I didn’t have car insurance.
I have little free money, which means I need to use a credit card for emergencies, which also needs to be paid off.
So yeah, my plan for budgeting is going to be messed up for many years to come.
Until I have the secondary payment for the pest services paid up.
Until my equipment for my security system is paid up.
Until my prepayment for my final arrangements is completed.
Until my credit cards are paid off.
…. Hmm.
What was the topic of this blog post again?
Edit: I didn’t mention the cost for my phone and internet, but they’re in a safe-ish range.
