I have many people I look to for advice. There are too many to list here.
I will say this though. In the Bible, I see examples of what I should avoid doing, so as to avoid the consequences.
So while King David was forgiven for adultery and murder, he still lost the son that resulted from the adultery. And… he was told a sword would never leave his house. There were many things in there that were fulfilled by Absalom.
I still giggle when I read through the Canticles.
David’s son Solomon… talk about a greedy man.
