When I was little, I would climb up the doorframe to the kitchen and hang off the top of the frame. I could touch the ceiling and tap my granddad on the top of his head.
Scared him half to death many times doing that.
I was able to grip the frame with my fingers and toes. At one point, I toyed with the idea of learning to write with my feet. I chose to settle for holding a pen with them.
I can pick up objects, flick the light switch and grip a doorknob.
I can wiggle my big toe independent of the others and wave the remaining ones.
I use my feet to pick up things. And I have tossed an object to a family member with a foot.
I am primarily right handed, and mainly do things with the right foot.
I also used to be able to ‘snap’ them… like I was snapping my fingers.

Part of the light switch flick also relies on my personal flexibility.
