To be a published author who gets paid.

Because I am published, but make no money from the current book.

Which is why I have been perched on a book idea for a very long time now.

I’m trying to figure out the illustration because I am too poor to afford one.

    I second that I wanna be a published successful author too!!! Maybe our books will be released around the same time. Wouldn’t that be awesome? 😊

    What kind of illustrations? I’m an artist and would love to have my art out in a book somewhere

      Illustrations of a little old man with a cane, winter gear, food bowls and cats. A house too. My first attempt looked like a scary egg monster. I’m slowly getting better at the cat pictures though.

        Not as of yet. I’m terrible at describing things off the bat, and I’d like to get together some decent descriptions of the characters. I’ve also been debating outright writing the manuscript for the book before looking into illustration. It’s an idea that my dad had almost 10 years ago. He keeps asking me to take dictation, but when I ask, he said he needs more time to think about it. So… I’ve decided to write it for him.
