Fantastic news! I don’t have glaucoma… which was a serious concern when looking at how high the pressure was in both eyes. Optic nerve looks good too. No damage, thank goodness!
Weird news! For the first time in over a decade, I’m getting a new pair of glasses that I can use. The most recent pair I bought… I couldn’t even use because they kept sliding. I couldn’t see anything well and colors were so muted…
What this means, also… is that I’ll be updating the picture I have on WordPress.
Soon.
Oh, it will be such a relief to finally retire these glasses!
Sweet, sweet relief!
For emphasis… I bought these glasses right before I bought a set for my mom… back in 2011.
But… Let’s face facts… I’m nearly 40.
It’s time for a change.
… and knowing my silly self, I’ll start working on using eye make-up.
But… to do that, I’ll need some help.
Video or human. Whichever one is the most effective.
Great… new adventures in different types of make-up!
Mentally, I’m screaming: “Juliette, you just had a major scare with your eyes and pressures still need to be monitored. Why on earth would you start putting makeup near your eyes?!”
Considering I endured a cornea test… where a needle is injected into each cornea 8 times… I think I might be ready for mascara.
… Maybe.
Either way it goes, I want to try new looks.
Which means that lip cream, eye shadow and eyeliner along with mascara might be what I cruise into the 40s with.
40s…
Might be time to start going for a nude lip with or without liner.
Granted… red still works very well for me.
Mmm… I already have some nice NYX sticks so…

My morning routine is about to get a LOT longer…
Yeah, definitely stay with the colors that work for me.
