Security can at times be an adventure.
I’ve recently acquired a home security system. In the time since I’ve had it, I’ve had two people attempt to pull my front door open. One of them, unfortunately, was a local politician.
I’ve met her in person. She’s very mean. And claimed she never came past my house. Then came past the house two months later, same thing. Left a flyer in the door around 2PM for an event at 10AM the next morning…
Poor planning. :-\
I have the honor of being frightened half to death when my doorbell rings. I’m not used to anyone coming by, so when it happens, it scares me.
I’ve already had to call for emergency services with the panel. That was terrifying.
I have a mad dash to the panel when I come in, with it chanting, “DISARM NOW! DISARM NOW!”
Now if by adventure, you mean bungee jumping… I’ll take security any day.
