Reading Glasses

So, still struggling.

I bounced between French and Arabic again. I’m so glad that I have notebooks for each. Fortunately, I’m using two very different branches of software to learn.

I am trying to challenge my brain somehow, so that’s why I’m doing this.

I’m starting to scritch my head with the Arabic, because when I see the sentences and hear the pronunciations, I’m trying to figure out where the letters go. Not all of the letters are even pronounced.

Are they called letters?? Symbols? No clue how I would even do this…

I also want to be very careful not to be disrespectful of the language. I’m trying to do that with any language I try to learn, no matter how confused or frustrated I am. My brain can keep up slightly, but my tongue is the most confounded of us all.

I’m also wondering if the language is read right to left… if so, oh dear. Japanese and/or Korean is on the backburner until I can brush up on my Spanish.

And…

Yeah. Going to work on a different lesson, one in English. Then, will play the Sims a bit if I’m able.

Completing my grocery shopping today was so exhausting. I managed to save likely over $150 in delivery fees, convenience fees and tips… but at what cost??
