My day normally starts about 1 hour ahead. I have one medication I need to take without food, so I’ll get up… take it and then get back in bed.
Sometimes I stay awake, but that’s not an every day thing. I’m usually still too tired.
Then, I get up an hour later. Depending on how bad the night was, might end up back asleep.
Otherwise, I disconnect the hose, then manage to get to my feet. Grab the phone and lumber to the bathroom… where I might end up sitting on the toilet for a good 30 minutes because I’m browsing. I look up the same result 2-3 times a day. The first search says: “died,” and the second one says: “news.”
Half the time, I’m scratching my head when I see the “news” result in the search.
Nothing but chaos and pain.
I thought my day to day life was chaotic, but my goodness.
I end up hitting the “snooze” about five times on my phone between the bedroom and bathroom, partly to remind myself and also since I tend to have about 4-5 alarms set. Including one on my alarm clock.
The next 30 minutes, I spend managing to make it down to the kitchen to grab a yogurt, then grab my pills. Can’t take those meds without eating. The prior one, I had to have a solid hour without food. Then… I have to suffer at times vomiting back up my meds because of how hard it is to swallow them.
Have I vomited up a pill and retaken it? Yeah. Three literally floated right out my esophagus when I gagged this morning. Grabbed them and swallowed them back down.
Umm…
I’m sure there are other people who have far more exciting 1st hours up compared to me. But I’m just being honest with what ends up happening.
