Today was a bit rougher than I expected. I was trying to schedule doctor’s appointments and referrals… and I started getting disoriented and forgetting things.
It’s upsetting. In mind, I had a mental picture of this very tasty food I like that has cabbage, carrots, and this creamy white sauce.
Yet…
It took me five minutes to remember what it was called.
… and I have loved coleslaw for years.
A friend of mine told me forgetting like that is indicative of miniature strokes, (TIAs) which aren’t small and insignificant at all. I was upset to hear that because I was recently in the emergency room with what might have been a TIA. My bloodwork completely baffled the ER staff and my primary physician.
Everything looked normal.
What on earth do I even note about it? “Potential TIA?” should that go into my medical records?
I don’t know…

At least I got lots of appointments scheduled today. And once I was done, normalcy returned to my teeny, tiny mind.
