Recalibrating

I completely forgot that I was supposed to get a phone call from the doctor and not an in office visit today. Which means I ended up at the doctor’s office without an actual appointment.

Now, the doctor still took me in and saw me regardless. She explained that my dosing schedule was throwing things off and explained the half life of my mood stabilizer is only 8 hours, so what I need to do is take my medication on time.

I took the mood stabilizer on time today and guess what? I was totally motivated and up to get cleaning done in the house.

So, this is going to have to be a regular thing with me.

I must eat with my medication and made a fresh loaf of bread. That is the most deformed and misshapen loaf of bread I have ever, ever made. I think it was way too much flour in the recipe.

Eh… it’s still edible.

I plan on making more preserves next month too.

A very dear friend of mine also scolded me about my sleep hygiene, so I’m hitting the bed soon.

Ugh.

I should feel good in the morning though… and that malformed loaf of bread has been cut into bit-sized chunks so I can eat a little bit of that and then take my medication in the morning immediately.

I am so happy that my dosage didn’t increase. Now, just need to be consistent with it. And as my friend stated, carry my pill boxes with me if I need to.

He told me that most medication you might be able to be a bit late on sometimes, but not medications to treat neurological conditions.

Duolingo after this, my reading and bedtime.
