Daily writing prompt
What advice would you give to your teenage self?
  1. Don’t turn to food when depressed over being bullied at school.
  2. Please stop binge eating, it’s going to make you so sick…
  3. You need therapy to help you.
  4. Look in the mirror and say: “I love you,” no less than twice a day. You’ll find that you really do love yourself. Please do it so that in the future you can understand why other people love you too.
  5. Step into the real world and try to find real friends… ones that can hug you.
  6. The trauma you’ve experienced is not your fault and you are not alone.
  7. Stop taking your anger and frustration with other people out on yourself.

There’s so much more I wish I could tell my teenage self… But that’s not possible.

I’m just glad I made it out of my teens before I did something really harmful to myself.
