Alright… let’s address the elephant in the room. Yes, I am still upset due to having to attend two memorial services in two days. Also, I have unpublished my novel. Of course, it’ll still be on the digital KDP side for 90 days, but other than that, no.
The sort of content it has… is not representative of me as a person.
Since I’ve decided to do this—mind—I’ve been published since 2014, (I found out recently. Thought it was 2013…) but it was my decision to remove it. No one else’s… and it makes me look a bit closer at my fanfictions.
C&R is fine. NtC is fine. But OA… Huh…
I will be revamping and completely rewriting Open Arms. Editing it as it is… eh… I’ll take tips from the current chapters though. Yes!
I’m trying to get the hang of the illustrative art as well, because my father wanted to cowrite a book with me. And we can’t afford an illustrator.
I had to reach out to him and my aunt today, because of what happened the night before. The second elephant in the room is that someone… don’t know who—tried to break into my house. Now, it’s funny because I just had this new system installed not even six months, and it caught someone.
A whistle, the spotlight began to wave… The man actually waved at me through the camera. -_- And looked up.
Clear shot of his face.
Huuuuuu…
And then he stepped out the yard. Stood there and waited for the light to stop. It didn’t stop until he left.
At least he left my gate closed. But… I wonder what his endgame would have been. What was the real reason that he tried to pull open my door—which thankfully was locked? Was he planning on stealing my couch? Maybe he wanted to try to bust in through the front windows?
It’s unfortunate… but a lot of people in this area leave their security doors unlatched and unlocked. Some people even leave their front doors unlocked.
A friend of mine and I encountered this.
That was definitely a mistaken door. We knocked, the door actually swung open and some guy inside and from upstairs—that we couldn’t see—said we could “come on up.” I took one look at that 20-step staircase that led into what looked like a wide-open room up there. We voiced our apologies and left.
Obviously not what we thought. Normally, when we go to visit other friends and family, they come to the door.
How do I even properly emote a sigh… aside from huuuuuuuuupppppffffff?
People are weird.
And terrifying.
