Hey, Miss J!

So… my plaque for completing the NanoWrimo contest showed up. I think I’m more excited about that, than I am about the Nano shirt!

For some wild reason, I assumed that the wood would be just painted and not engraved.

But… touching it and smelling the thing. It gave me a feeling I never thought I’d have—ever.

I’m proud of myself. Not too proud… but very happy. I feel like I’m bubbling over just a little bit.

I’m also on the 8^th? night of trying to solve this Rubix cube. It’s frustrating. I nearly get one side, then another side is off. So, I try to solve two sides at once… and get confused spinning the thing around.

Then everyone’s all scrambled again.

I already know I’ll never solve it… but it is nice to try to flex what tiny brain matter I have.

I’ll be working on some edits for NtC tonight. Whew. That’s all!
