What is this reality?
The one where – under compulsion – I churned out 24 pages of a brand-new fanfiction in less than two days.
In a completely different genre!
I took a cleaner approach this time and printed out the work so I could edit it. Now… the problem with doing that for NtC is that the fic is far over 24 pages long. In fact… I think it’s currently near 400 pages.
And I am nowhere near done with it.
So, my editing process is going to be slow. Fortunately, I can sort of follow along with myself in the individual chapters.
Unfortunately, the chapters in OA are so badly written and formatted that I’ll need to rewrite each of them from the ground up.
They average 4,000 words…
And I think I have 12 chapters up so far.
I think I might be churning out shorts while trying to get editing done.
Step 1 however… will be to sit down and handwrite a schedule for myself. I have a lot of things that need to be done that were pushed aside for this.
But at least the thoughts are slowly dissolving out of my mind.
