Whenever I Think My Days Are Boring…

@12:31AM

So, I managed to complete all my CHORES, but none of my assignments. One of my assignments is to redo my weekly schedule. I also have 2 lessons to complete.

Considering I tend to need 2 hours for one of those…

Oh dear.

I should probably put on the kettle.

I lost so much time dealing with that paperwork earlier today…

Tonight calls for some nice, hot, black tea. Maybe I still have some of that Lipton’s?

Hmm…

@5:15AM

Yep… still on that same lesson. To be fair though, I did take a break to play some mobile games. My phone has restrictions in place, so I can’t get apps for people who are teens. Limited to 10+.

So quite a few apps are unavailable… I think.

I should be done with this first lesson soon, then I have several errands and I should be able to get back and work on part of my second lesson a bit later today.

@11:28AM

I got sucked into Fabulosa(?)Stories for a bit. Breakfast was fantastic. I love food.

One thing I don’t understand though is on TV shows… I always see the families eating like ½ of the food on their plates and tossing out the rest.

Like… Why wouldn’t you just wrap it in saran wrap or foil and save it for the next day??

I’ve seen a friend of mine leave a chunk of food on her plate. I just sit there and stare… Like… It’s less than a bite. Really?? Fortunately, it’s not my food.

Maybe it’s from my upbringing. Both of my grandparents lived through the Great Depression. So, there was no ‘leave food on plate’ in their house. If I run into a situation where I can’t eat all of something, I will get out a container or foil and a sandwich bag… and pack it for the next day.

Ugh…

So much food waste.

I get angry when my family buys a whole lasagna, then throws out half of it. Or they have something like a pot roast… then leave it in the oven overnight. Then they eat it, but end up losing interest and discard like 1/4th of it. So many food safety issues…

Just… why?!

I get upset when I have to toss out bits of fruit or vegetables that have spoiled. I stopped buying things that I just knew I would never eat.

@9:55pm.

So now I’m home, fixing a late dinner and trying to figure out how to close my calorie gap… again. It’s frustrating how often it happens, but I am trying to eat healthier.

So, my home-cooked meals would be lower in calories anyway. 🙃

@10:55PM

Turns out that peanut butter comes through again in a clutch! I’m a tad frustrated now.

I still need to finish that one lesson for Thursday. All while keeping in mind that tomorrow, I have another assignment to do.

It seems like I always have them.

I’m not angry though… I’m learning a lot and apply it to my daily life.

My days have been more peaceful.

During the day, I scrambled between two pharmacies to get my meds. The first came through in a clutch. The second… never even filed it away even though it was sent to them over a week ago. They pretended like they didn’t know what I was talking about.

And now my insurance might be hung up in this mess. It’s upsetting. I need my asthma medications!
