Reboot

Watching another episode of “Little House On The Prairie”. I really, really love this show. This particular episode is titled: “The Fighter” and so far into the episode…

I am so angry with his manager. Words can’t describe it.

I finally went and made printed versions of my daily schedule and household chores list. From the original excel and word documents. Then, I was looking for an additional To Do list for myself to remind me of basic things… like taking my meds, showering, etc. Basically, a self-care checkoff list.

While I found one that was quite cute, I was horrified to see it measured 6 x 9. Not bad if it was just a regular notebook, but I was supposed to write a lot of things on it. That’s close to the size of an index card.

So, I pulled up Microsoft Word and built my own customized Adulting To Do List. There’s no frills or flowers on it. While that would make it look nice, it adds up to excess ink being wasted. I printed out 32 of them, put the bulk in a folder and set one up for tomorrow.

It’s kind of like how I’ll take my night meds, then pull the pillbox for the next day down and have it already waiting.

My “Adulting” list has a list for people I should call that day, notes, errands, appointments, tasks and a checklist. It looks very nice. Crisp. Clean. Mostly Spartan, which is my usual decoration choice.

I must go now. Have an early morning, but for now, there’s some homemade pasta to flatten out, then cut and boil. I’ll see where things go – when stuff starts to settle down.
