I’m sitting here and just realized that I already completed my reading for tonight… last night.
Ugh. I suppose that means I have time now to take care of other things. I’m still waiting to see what’s going on with the hot water tank. Freezing cold showers are still very much a thing.
I’m beginning to debate if I should take two cold showers a day or not.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get any writing done last night. Or much of anything else.
This is a quick update before I forget.
Today, I…
- Loaded the dishwasher twice.
- Did 1 load of laundry.
- Cleaned the litter box.
- Checked on status of new hot water tank. I want to cry rn.
- Cooked dinner. Breakfast was fruit and lunch was nonexistent.
- Chopped up a free cabbage and some carrots for stir fry. Now have excess cabbage in the freezer.
- Weighed myself. Happy I only gained like 4 lbs. Uncertain how much were my clothes.
- Showered. It may not seem like a lot, but it’s good that I try to shower at least once every 2 days. Going to try to shower daily, even though the water feels like straight up ice.
- Joined friends on Zoom.
- ‘Ate’ my pills today. Including my antidepressant and mood stabilizer… and all of the supplements I take so my kidneys are working. One of my meds can cause seizures and three of them cause constipation or diarrhea.
- Researched what generation I’m in.
- Brush teeth. It may not seem like much, but it’s really a good thing that I’m trying to keep up my dental hygiene now.
- Chatted with a bestie on the phone.
- Tested for Autism and ADHD. Looks like I might have both. Results on test for Dyslexia negligible. Suggested to consult my physician.
- Logged back into Facebook and my email account.
- Watched a bunch of YT shorts and long vids that reminded me why life outside seems so scary.
- Fidgeted like crazy – as usual.
- Ordered new CPAP supplies.
- Loaded up new stuff in Amazon.com cart… of course, did not purchase any of it.
All in all, it’s been a pretty productive day.
What I need to do tonight is…
- Clean the cat box.
- Pull all the trash.
- Collect the recycling.
- Set another load of laundry in the washing machine.
- Set the morning alarm.
- Pay bills.
- Cry cos ‘no moneh’ save for bills and a few household necessities.
- Figure out what other household necessities are umm… needed.

- Watch more “Prairie”.
- Pen out a schedule for tomorrow and try to follow it.
Do my blog!- Do the dishes.
- Load the dishwasher. The above “do the dishes” is not the same.
- Slice up fresh loaf of bread.
- Additional laundry.
- Change the sheets.
- Prep for the next loaf of bread. Minus the water, oil and yeast.
- Clean out the CPAP tank.
- Update ALL the calendars with information on doctor’s appointments, etc.
- Take nerve pain medication. It doubles as anti-anxiety.
- Eat goat cheese with my fresh bread.
- Put away laundry… I dunno if I can do this one tonight, but I’ll try!
Looking over the lists, I really did do a lot today. I’m pretty impressed with myself. Writing might be on the backorder again… on Wednesday. I’m promising nothing for tonight!
