I’m taking the time right now to try to get settled. I already went outside and got my new tags.
Sometimes I do not want to deal with having a car anymore. It costs nearly all the way down the line. There’s registration, which thankfully costs the same. However, my car insurance has risen about $15 extra per month due to all of the car thefts and car accidents here.
It seems all through 2022, the people in this city have become more and more selfish and reckless.
So much stealing… so many people just pulling out guns and shooting each other.
I’ve had to withdraw and pull myself back from looking at TV for the news. Regardless, I’m exposed to the news via conversations with friends and the community group I’m a member of.
I’m still trying to understand what was in the head of the person who shot at a public transit bus.
It’s nearly midnight, and I just got a notification of another shooting in the area.
I can’t even…
That’s why my insurance went up. The costs also increase with gas prices as well.
Yet… riding the bus severely limits my movements and takes up a lot of time too.
What can I do really?
