So, got news. I finished “Perspectives” in one day. That’s the good news.
The bad news is that most of my day is now gone. I had nothing but grilled cheese for dinner. I’d debated ordering via GrubHub for food, but decided against it. I honestly can’t afford to order through them. I also can’t afford to order through InstaCart either.
I’ve been administered no less than five vaccination shots.
That doesn’t mean I’m not worried about the risk to my health by going out, but I’ve resigned myself to just going out when necessary to buy the things I needed.
InstaCart cost $99 per year, and all I saved this year through them was a little over $47. I ended up spending more than that when looking at fees and taxes.
Along with tips. If my time in the food industry has taught me anything, it’s that people who work in the Customer Service don’t need further abuse. Even though the people who deliver the food have nothing to do with making the food, they still go through the effort to deliver it.
The tips are for the driver, not the restaurant. If I want the food at the restaurant, I’ll just have to saunter myself over there and order it in person. Since I can’t actually afford it without breaking the bank, I opt to just cook at home from now on.
Mentally… I’m feeling far better today, but had a case of the “no wanna move”s physically. I hope tomorrow I don’t feel as tired.
My friend is also sick with something, so that kept her from coming over today. Which is fine. I didn’t feel like getting behind the wheel at all.
That’s it for now.
