Time: 10:02am
- So, I’m sitting here listening to a “Colors of the Wind” by Vanessa Williams while trying to figure out which one of today’s tasks I’m going to tackle first. I rarely (if ever) pen time down for exercise, but since I’m on hiatus for a while… might as well make the best of it.
- I realize I could just sit in bed all morning, eating popcorn and watching movie, but what’s fun about that?
- I’m supposed to do laundry, so I suppose a shower is the first start? Then again, I also have some important calls to make. Blech. Everything got backed up this weekend because Navigating the Curve took some priority. Since it’s the last chapter before my break, I wanted to get it out before July ended.
- I just read last night that Nichelle Nichols died. Though I don’t often mention celebrities when they die… this one made me very sad.
- It hurt when Betty White died. I found a strange irony in the fact that when she finally did die, it was when she was planning this extravagant 100-year celebration when she hadn’t done something like that before. Though if she had a huge party, I never saw it in the news.
Time: 10:56am
- Okay, so I chose the phone calls. Something I loath doing. It’s not that I’m inherently lazy. Moreso… I don’t feel comfortable at all on the phone. Even though I have learned some phone etiquette over the years, I still don’t like it when I have to do it.
- That leaves behind:
- Afternoon Meeting
- Audio Editing
- Cleaning
- Eating
- Evening Meeting
- Exercising
- Laundry
- My notes for another meeting
- Showering
- Video watching
Time: 5:33PM
- Okay, got most of what I had to do earlier done.
- I still need to do some things, which includes:
- Audio Editing ç This might take a long time or not… or I can push it back to tomorrow.
- Cleaning ç Clearing desk and dresser fully.
Evening Meetingç Cancelled going.
Exercisingç Laundry counts due to all the stairs.
- Laundry ç Just need to dry and put everything away.
- Notes for another meeting
- Video Watching
- My new mittens are wonderful! They’re soo cool and comfy. I almost fell asleep last night with them on my hands!
- I also have cooking to do tonight. Ugh. I’m thinking two appliances will be in use. Hmm.
- A friend just loaded me down with a lot of meat so it’s gotta go somewhere, right?
Time: 11:24pm
- Brand new season of Intervention that I’ve been marathoning.
- Someone complained they paid $15.99 for 3 episodes of the show.
- What you’re supposed to do is only pay $9.99 for Standard Definition.
- When you pay for the season, you pay the full price.
- You never get all the episodes at once if it’s a new season.
- Someone complained they paid $15.99 for 3 episodes of the show.
- Had a fantastic dinner. Lamb was included with the meat I was given. Used the air fryer to cook it. Very tasty!
- Cooked a pack of ground turkey with some homemade pasta sauce too. Have it in the fridge now. I need to do some meal prep for this week, I think.
- I still have a bunch to do tonight.
- Cooking pretty much took over my evening after 6pm.
- That lamb and rice was sooo good though!
- Nearly done clearing off my desk. It’s soo easy for it to get messy because of supplies constantly moving all over the place.
- Cooking pretty much took over my evening after 6pm.
- I want to do some writing spurts for chapter 17. Even though I’m not posting right now, I would like to have some framework.
- My friend tells me I need to rest my body and my wrists.
- She also asked what would happen with the couple in the next chapter… That would involve me writing to figure it out.
- Hahahaha!
- I do not write smut, so the story isn’t taken over by sexual content.
- Which means I gotta figure out how the whole chapter will go.
- I’m now listening to “The Colour of My Love” by Celine Dion. My tunes tonight have been all randomized. And I figure that it comes all full circle??
Even though I had something I was supposed to do tomorrow… Because of the sheer amount of things I need to do tonight and early in the morning, I’ll reschedule till next week. Fortunately, it’s nothing critical. The rest of this week will involve lots of driving, which means I’ll need my friend riding with me.
I’ve been reading Chapter 16 of Navigating the Curve repetitively. I get so obsessed over these chapters. I still don’t know how it’ll feel when the story is finally over.
Probably sad.
Then might move to a sequel? IDK. I still have “Open Arms” to complete along with ideas for potentially two other fics to work on.
I had a very long day.
I just remember I left the dried clothes downstairs in my wheelchair…
Once again, down I go to get my clothes.
Go figure.
I’ve been losing weight, so at least my legs don’t feel so tired anymore.
Still… I need clean clothes.
If I walk around naked outside, I’d end up either in prison or the psychiatric ward here.
I got one of those sweet laundry backpacks too. It makes transporting less excruciating. My back doesn’t like it, but I walk hunched forward most of the time at an angle or via awkward wobbly-legged waddling, so I just have to make sure I don’t topple forwards from the weight.
Ta Ta!
