If you mean people, it’s people who rattle on about themselves. I have a family member who does this. Will talk over a half hour and if you say anything, tells you: “Hold on, I’m still talking.”

- People who are rude
- People with screaming children (I’m not bothered by the noise. I’m usually bored watching the mothers outright ignore the kid howling while they go about their business.)
If you mean locations?
- Clothing stores
- Jewelry stores
- Grocery stores – check out lane edition
- Make-up and perfume stores
- … anything not an electronics store
- Work when I was between customers
- Traffic
Events?
- I found the writing group I joined in person to be extremely boring… then disgusting. We were sharing parts of our writing and one guy brought a sexually explicit piece to share. One person said it wasn’t bad but they wished he had given a warning. Me? I kept mentally screaming about how much he was focused on clearly discussing genitalia, sounds and fluids.
- Union meetings. I wanted to stab myself in the eye. I had no clue what they were talking about about 90% of the time.
- And sad to say… gatherings with others. It’s not them, it’s the fact I have no clue what t say.
Other places? Waiting rooms. Oh man…
- Doctor’s Offices
- ER Waiting Rooms – One hospital put a woman in labor in the waiting room… Let’s let that one sink in.
- Automotive spot waiting for car repairs
- Lines in grocery stores – This was intentionally placed here twice!
More than this falls under things that make me bored. As a matter of fact, this blog post also made me feel bored. I had to sit and try to figure out what to say. And now I’m sitting here yawning.
