Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.
My favorite style of shoes are in sneaker form with steel toes.
So, I’ll provide the background for that.
I used to work in retail, and an on-going risk is having things drop on your foot. But oddly enough, it wasn’t until I was wearing steel-toed sneakers that things started falling. Thankfully, my feet were kept safe.
The desire for safety has extended out to my day-to-day life now. I use a cane, yes, but it’s aluminum. I can protect myself if need be. And if that doesn’t work, I use my shoes.
And if that doesn’t work, I use my water bottle.
Yes. A water bottle.
I carry around a stainless steel water bottle. It looks like it’s made of plastic though and that’s just how I like it.
