They’re All Over The Place

Daily writing prompt
Do you ever see wild animals?

I see birds every day.

…Especially the murder of crows that I see from the front door.

Since it’s cold, I don’t see mosquitoes aka agents of disease, destruction and doom.

I’ve almost hit a deer because it was standing in the middle of the road.

I’ve screamed in terror at the sight of an opossum. It screamed back.

I’ve seen racoons bigger than alley cats.

I’ve also seen a trio of alley cats at my front door surround a groundhog, and then they didn’t know what to do with it. The groundhog was more um… “robust” than they were.

  1. Murder of crows. What a great collective noun.
