Wish I could, but I’m a bit busy right now. I am…
- Opening (AGAIN!!!!) the case on a Latitude 3150.
- I just installed Raspberry Pi on it.
- I’m about to change the CMOS battery.
- I swapped out, reset and reinstalled Windows 10 on an old harddrive.
- Multitasking while starving half to death because I haven’t eaten since like… 2 PM?
So, as noted, that is 5 things I’m doing while juggling opening up a PC case and trying to fix the network card.
Any tech peeps on here?
I can get the laptop on my mobile phone’s hotspot and browse. I can get it logged onto my WiFi… but I cannot browse.
I have rebooted the router, flushed the network settings (5 times), reboot the laptop, (About 7 times. I counted.) and I even installed a brand new OS (Raspberry Pi… which I hate totally.)
I don’t want to think its the harddrive, or that it’s the NIC card because the laptop gets online with the hotspot. I do not want to have to buy a hotspot just to log onto it.
I do not have the money to try and set it up for EoP… and I definitely don’t want to have to sit near the router or run 20-50 feet of Ethernet cable up here. Would defeat the purpose of using the WiFi.
Suggestions welcome!
