… one I bought that contains a variety of Korean dishes. I’ve always liked the idea of it whenever I saw the side dishes in different dramas I’ve seen.
The food always looks so good and it is super healthy. I’d love to make some of those dishes. Cos there’s a lot more than the somewhat simplistic meals I make.
Lately, my focus has been “quick and easy.”
For way too long, I’ve done that.
I have stuff like sauerkraut and kimchi that I need to check on to ensure freshness.
But there are so many different vegetables that my ridiculously limited diet doesn’t include.
I received a bit of assistance recently, so I’ll look into obtaining all of the vegetables that I can for these meals. Some of the items I had to purchase, such as a fermented paste that takes 12 months to make.
My desire to “make” things stops when I see it takes a doggone year to do it.
There will definitely be meat, but in different dishes compared to what I’m used to.
I also love making ramen. However, I when I make it, it could take an hour. I build it from the ground up.
Huh…
I wonder.
Why haven’t I been treating myself like this on a regular basis? I can always handle other things while the food simmers on low.
I used to do a lot of food prep and my meals were so pretty.
…
I guess I figured since I don’t have a work schedule anymore that it didn’t matter.
But it really does.
I also have irregular eating hours now too so…
I like being able to reheat a meal I’ve made and just go from there. But I need to nail down a day and/or time to do a whole lot of food preparation.
IDK. We’ll see.
The fish sticks and fries I had for dinner just seem hollow compared to other meals I’ve prepped.

Course, I’m gonna go after this and prep the beef I have for proper freezing so it doesn’t spoil on me. Used it the other day to make a beef and veggie stir fry breakfast. Loved it.
I’ll also look into tofu again for my meals, because I really liked using it as well. … Never thought I’d say that about tofu.
