What sacrifices have you made in life?

Huh. This is a good one.

I stopped going to college to get a low paying job and help my grandfather pay bills.

I gave up my dignity to remain at that same job.

I gave up my normal speech pattern to ‘fit in’ with my clientele.

I gave up my paychecks to pay my father to teach me to drive.

I gave up the opportunity to ever get pregnant to save my own life.

I gave up my privacy to obtain psychiatric care.

I’ve given up the idea of ever being married because of how messed up my body is.

There are many things I’ve gained in life too. They really outweigh the sacrifices, even if sometimes my stupid brain tells me otherwise.
