Does it count if I never graduated or even got a certificate?
What I learned in college has no value whatsoever, except what I learned from my English 2 teacher. She was absolutely fantastic… and considering her age at the time, she might no longer be living.
The locations are immaterial at this point, but I did attend two separate colleges.
Yes, I struggled to get some scholarships and by the time I in essence ‘gave up,’ I was paying out of pocket and attempting to pursue a degree in accounting.
Did I want to be an accountant?
Absolutely not. It’s completely boring to me.
I hate dealing with numbers.
I hate dealing with money.
I hate the nightmare of balancing books.
Did it for years… and the longer it went on, the more frustrated I got.
I prefer to balance my own finances.
So why pursue a degree in accounting?
Simple.
Money. I would have gone into preparing taxes. I wanted to work for H&R block… or maybe go independent myself–If I was good enough to be a tax preparer. I also could have looked into companies in need of accountants.
There were two colleges I had my eyes on after I graduated too. In the southern part of the USA.
