My absolute top favorite is the hummingbird! These small birds have always captivated me because of what they do and how they look. I even have some necklaces and a mug with pictures of them. I found out that their tongues are fluid traps that open up like teeny tiny Venus fly traps.
My second favorite is the noble chipmunk! They are darling, but also can be full of mischief. Fun fact: They also eat meat. Have seen pictures of them dragging away birds to eat.
I also love cats and dogs.
Mice and rats will be not on that list… but only because they play the part of vermin.
I really love horses too.
I have many favorites.
