There are some steps involved with this. First off, I have to set the lighting.
Now for me to be relaxed, there has to be as little light as possible. Pitch black works very well.
Then, the sounds have to be reduced. Though I appear to be fine, excessive noises overwhelm me and fracture any focus I could have on anything.
Smells also need to be adjusted. I’m not a fan of heavy perfumes, lit candles or incense.
Matter of fact, neither are my cats. Scented candles are dangerous for them, along with incense. Both give me headaches, so I don’t want to imagine what it does to them.
Then. I. Go. To. Sleep.
Aside from sitting in my very cushiony office chair, which can also become painful… there are 0 ways for me to really relax.
Course…
When I’m asleep, I’m very relaxed.
