Hey, Miss J!

I find it very funny that I need to completely change my music to be in the correct mood to work on anything for NtC.

Sad too, but mostly funny. Some of my music was also on loop for Catch & Release as well. I got the idea for it while humming along with an old Heart song and getting gradually more frustrated that the couple I wanted to read fanfiction on… didn’t seem to exist.

Then I looked at my ‘Shorts’ notebook and stared at the ideas I had in there… And realized I had one for the Croods. I decided to scrap that premise and built a new one.

If I remember correctly, I have three additional chapters that are supposed to be going up.

For NtC, I have two chapters penned and in need of edits. But I’m not going back to my 2x month habit with NtC. I think 1x is enough—Have I talked about this before?

I’ve no honest clue. Maybe?

IDK.

But… I do know that I just got an idea for a fanfiction with Catwoman. Now if it goes anywhere… that’s a horse of another color. I honestly know very little about the Batman universe… found it to be extremely dark. Batman as he’s portrayed in the movies… is both vengeful, narcissistic, and violent. I know in the comics and one of the TV shows that his back was broken.

No clue what sorts of characters I would include if I did decide to go ahead with a fanfic involving Catwoman.

Like always though… I’ll end up doing extensive research.

Unfortunately, I did make a whole notebook up for a ST:VOY fanfiction… then left no note as to what was going to happen in it.

Oh wait… need to take that back. I’m staring at a tiny note I wrote back in July.

How… on earth am I going to write that?!

I could start in the middle of the series and rewatch as many episodes as I can. Which… will take some time.

As money is not in abundant supply.

Hrm… I could also go off memory and just ‘wing’ it.

I’m also debating pulling OA and rewriting the entire story. Now that I have more ideas about what’s happening in the background of it.

I think I understood what was meant by “canon,” because I’ve seen so many fanfics where Ororo and her fellow X-Men are so far out of character that they might as well be original characters… or children. One or the other.

My office is a mess, along with my home, I have clothes to put away, my night reading to do, my Duolingo lesson for the day and to complete an assignment. I think tomorrow morning, I’m going to do more ‘spring’ cleaning.

I did that a few days ago, and the kitchen and dining room look way better. Now, I need to focus between the dining room and living room. Bedroom/office needs a proper dusting and tidying too.

Huh…

Lots to do.

Step One: Post Blog and do Duolingo

Step Two: Do night reading

Step Three: Resume work on assignment

Step 4: Clean CPAP.

Step 5: Print out copy of schedule. 2^nd: match against chore schedule.

Step 6: Make more Thai Tea.

Step 7: Load Dishwasher

Step 8: Set alarm, sleep.

Let’s see how horribly out of order I do all that. I’m gonna write it down so I can at least… try…

How odd would a Chakotay/Seven romance look when it slowly morphed into Kim/Seven? Or would Kim/Seven to Chakotay/Seven to Kim/Seven again make more sense?
