Fantastic news! I completed NanoWrimo today with those additions to NtC totaling just a smidgeon over 50,000.
I get asked what was won. Here’s what Nano gives you: A chance to buy a t-shirt with the year on it and a chance to buy a placard celebrating your success.
You pay for those items… shipping and all.
Now, there are a whole lot in terms of additional perks, but I’m focused on things I can see and/or wear without the internet being involved.
One of my friends asked me to never do it again, and I’ve already said I wouldn’t.
On the positive end, I did complete an entire 5 additional chapters for NtC! Now… the great part… I need to edit each and every chapter to make sure all of it is cohesive. Which means… I now have close to 900 pages I’ll be working on. Tonight, I’ll start work on C&R.
The story is shorter per chapter and only has about 7 chapters total, when including the two shorts.
