I’m a bit frustrated. One of the screws keeping the handle on my glasses is out of the glasses. I couldn’t even get the screw back in there. It was strange. The hole is diagonal… from all appearances.
I had to get hold of the smallest sewing needle I have – all to pull some thread in to put the handle back in place. It’s not a lasting fix, but whilst chatting with one of my friends had an idea.
I have an entire case of supplies to make jewelry, and I have needle nose pliers. I’m going to bend one of the pieces that can be set as an earring hook and wind it through.
It will probably hold better than the screw did.
I’ve never ever had such a poorly designed pair of glasses… ever.
I also have some pieces to choose from. I have smaller links to hold bits, but I might have more leeway with the earring hooks.
Or not. I’ll have to figure it out.
After my lesson, I’ll be gaming tonight.
