I’m slowly coming to terms with the fact that at times, I need things a bit bigger to read. So… I have this document currently at 120%… but it’s not exactly enough.
However 150% is fantastic!
My day wasn’t bad, even though it started off kind of on the wrong foot. I woke up so sore and tired that I couldn’t get out the bed. Thankfully, I was still able to go pick up my trail mix and meds. The doctor changed up the prescription yesterday.
Yesterday was wild. I was late due to the two busses I normally catch being late/delayed. Then I was 16 minutes late getting off the elevator but was stuck behind two people, one who needed some things explained. Then, I was told that the doctor would try to see me today, but it might be delayed because they had to see patients who were there on time.
So… around 3:30 or so? I asked if I was still going to be able to be seen.
Apparently, they had checked me out. BUT… I was never checked in? I don’t know how that works.
Yikes.
Then I saw my doc, explained how things are going, got my new prescription and left. Then… I had to run to catch my bus. I do not mean a few feet either. I’m talking about probably two solid blocks I was sprinting down the sidewalk. I started waving and screaming: “Please stop the bus!” Fortunately got on. Unfortunately, all seats seemed taken.
We’re all still dealing with illnesses, and my immune system is greatly compromised. So… I stood for a while.
As before, the directions on my Transit app kept flipping back and forth. I decided to stop at the usual stop… hoping that the bus that has let me down the last three trips would actually be there.
Not only did that last bus show up, but it was two minutes early. It was nice. Another woman was yelling for the bus to wait, and I was able to get the bus driver to stop so she could get on.
Nice!
But I knew yesterday that the run would catch up. And today… it did.
Ouch.
Okay. I’m going to take my new meds, drink half my protein shake (or all) and go to bed.
