Scroll down for what might be a bad idea!

My forearms hate me at current. I ended up somehow walking nearly two miles today. What’s so strange about that is that I never event went outside the house. Part of what took me so far was the running up and down for laundry and the effort of moving to-and-fro to clean and to eat.

Let’s be real though. Me running anywhere is a real laugh these days. It was moreso slow crawling up and down the stairs.

I also don’t have a working range, so I have to walk back and forth moving around different appliances to cook.

Made some spaghetti sauce today. It tasted extra garlicky. Probably should have stopped at three or four cloves.

Instead of five.

Now that I have my new wringer, pulling liquid from my clothes is so much easier except now there’s another problem.

The wringer almost completely blocks access to the faucet (which means extra stretching, extra sweat and extra backpain – over what I normally have) so I need to set it somewhere else.

So, I’ve devised a plan. I’m sure my friend thinks I’m insane.

Hint hint. This is where the terrible idea might be. I’m recording it for posterity so if I end up needing a body part amputated, I know who to blame… myself.

I’m going to:

  • Tie three big milk crates together with heavy-duty zip ties.
  • Fasten the wringer onto two heavy-duty buckets.
  • Balance the buckets on the three milk crates.
  • Use the current bucket for washing for water transportation instead.

I’m certain there’s a less insane way to do my laundry, but I haven’t figured out what it is yet.

Since I can’t use my washing machine, this is what I’ve ended up doing.

My joints hurt even more now.

I fear being filthy and stinky more than being in pain though.

There’s also a lot of pride in having clean clothes when you were the one who had to physically clean it yourself.

I have a lesson to see if I can finish tonight, and then AGAIN attempt to write that scene for chapter 18. Yesterday I just went to sleep.

Like BOOM, as soon as my body hit the bed I was out like a light. To sleep tonight, I need to put my clean sheets on the bed. Which means I might be up for another trip downstairs.

Racing – at the speed of a snail. ~_~

That’s it for now.
