An Awful Lot To Do

This should be brief. I have a date with some cheese and multigrain chips. Editing for NtC has kicked into high gear. I even printed out copies of the first four chapters and am actively using my gel pens along with the pilots.

You could call me silly to do anything by hand, considering the fact that I have neuropathy – permanent nerve damage – on my dominant side – from elbow down to hand… In conjunction with neuritis on both sides. Having to do much with my hands can be difficult because they fatigue very easily. Scribbling down notes can cause me so much pain… and I can feel the ripple effects going up my arm.

It’s hard to describe aside from suddenly intense muscle fatigue along with what feels like a lot of lactic acid…

That happens after I write half a page…

But… I couldn’t help it. I was brainstorming with a friend of mine for ideas for NtC because after all, it’s a lot for me to do. Every chapter is over 10K words so I have to come up with something that will hold people’s attention.

What she said had me so excited that I started writing by hand in my notebook. I just hope I can coherently read it to copy over into a document on the PC.

I had a fixed number for the ending chapter. Then… it changed. Now, it’s up in the air.

So, I still want to pen one of the heavy scenes coming up in the fic. I think that one might take me a few days to write. I also will probably draw terrible sketches in my notebook to figure out angles and how to focus clearly… and on what.

That’s it. This was spose to be a short post. Sorry!
