I’ve been so busy working on my flailing attempt to make merch that I nearly forgot about the fact that I write. I’m so sorry about that. I’ve had the ideas for NtC kicking around in my head. Even saying that causes other ideas to pop up.
If anyone wondered why I did not finish chapter 9, I have. I like it. It’s really… Groovy. In fact, I’m in the process of editing. I’m on page 6 out of 28. If I tackle it tonight, I might be able to finish it around 1AM. And wouldn’t you guys like to see at least 1 chapter of Navigating the Curve instead of waiting for the next chapter of Open Arms too?
I know I want to see the next chapter of NtC up and running. Then I can jump into chapter 10.
You know, I completely forgot that I never showed my screen while I’m heavily into the creation/work process. (Or maybe I did.) Here’s a brand-new snapshot of it.

I honestly wish that I could have six windows open. That would make everything so much easier.
And because I’ve been detail-oriented about my writing since I was a child, I also have a notebook only for use in jotting down ideas for this fiction.
Work on rewriting my novel will begin in a few days.
It’s funny. Between my writing, knitting, crocheting, music and cooking, I always run into an issue where someone gets neglected.
Oops… That’s right. I have the YouTube pages.
Pfft. Again, pfft, I say!
My doctor also raised the dosage on my medication this past Friday. The increased dosage begins on Monday. I really hope that my mood doesn’t get all weird and floppy. I need emotions as a writer. It’s an integral part of me as a creative person at all. The same heightened emotions that can bleed through my writing might be affected by the medication.
Happy me is still good though, right? I’ve never had to struggle too hard for ideas. My problem was always nailing one down.
We’ll see how it all goes. So far, the only effect I’ve had is digestive upset from the meds. But that’s on the current dose…
Here’s where I add additional links and information that might not be of interest. You can read on regardless.
So… I created a TeeSpring because I thought someone might want to buy merchandise that I make. The images and photographs I use in the merch are all original. The brand name I’ve adopted is JLyst Designs.
Amazon has listed only one item I’ve designed. An android phone case.
I’m not sure which part upsets me more about trying to sell this merch online… the fact that to even have a commission for the phone case, I had to raise the price to $18… out of that, my cut is only $2.90. Is it that or the fact that I have no clue how to market myself? (I’m still worried I’ll be taxed on the $0.70 I made from royalties back in 2014. How sad is that?)
I’m still trying to figure that out.
The slow hustle game is very real.
Take care. Until next time!
